I wanted to turn to the MakeMKV support forum as to why I might be seeing this artifact on playback. Basically, right around the 12:30 mark is where it is most visible ... it is visible in other places as well. However, i'm seeing these faint vertical lines in the video playback of the MKV. This problem does not exist on the actual blu-ray.
My initial thoughts was that I was getting vertical banding due to other hardware/software issues. I feel I've eliminated all other factors except MakeMKV.
GPU Settings:
Problem exists with either NVIDIA gtx 1080 or ATI R9 280 gpu
Problem exists with 8-bit or 12-bit color
Problem exists at 1080p or 2160p (upscaled via MadVR)
Software:
Problem exists in Jriver, WMP, Kodi, and VLC
Problem exists in Windows 7, Windows 10, and now in Mac OSX
Hardware:
Problem exists on JVC projector, Samsung flat panel, Macboox Air (2011)
I have attached a picture of what I'm seeing .... Has anyone else experienced this? I've thought about trying a different ripping software, but I keep coming back to Make MKV as the best all-in-one solution. Quite honestly I've been very happy with MakeMKV up until the recent issues with this MKV file.

Re: Strange artifacts on Art of Flight blu-ray
Were there ANY messages during the rip, especially any regarding BD+ or "No FUTs"?
