DVD Ripping
DVD Ripping
I have just downloaded the MakeMLV software. I converted the first DVD titles without any issues but when I converted the second DVD, there is no audio exported. Can someone please tell me what this issue might be, thanks
Re: DVD Ripping
How do you know no audio was exported?
By default, and unless you've learned about Expert mode, the audio on the DVD/BD is simply copied into the MKV file. But that does not mean your player can play it, if it is in a format it does not understand.
Have you tried playing it in something like VLC (from videolan.org), which recognizes most audio and video formats found on DVD and BD? If so, what does it show for audio tracks, when you check the file information while it's playing? That's found under Tools->Information in the menu, and the "Codec" tab.
