makemkv beta key?

I just realised i downloaded and installed the software and have just been using it without using the beta key.

will this have any effect on how the software works? it starts and i have ripped dvds with it but i have also had problems with dvds to.

any advice please

just to say. i registered now with the beta key and it still doesnt rip dvds im having problems with lol
