But, just to make sure I understand correctly, can you confirm the following with regards to Resolve?
  1. CMv2.9 Analysis & CMv2.9 output = L1
  2. CMv4 Analysis & CMv2.9 output = L1+L2
  3. CMv4 Analysis & CMv4 output = L1+L3 in CMv4 or L1+L2 in CMv2.9 Fallback
That's correct.
Actually, the L8 100nits trim is exported but it's set to 0 and obviously not useful to DV playback.

Which of these typically look most accurate to the original Profile 7?

Reset may be you could do one of your scripts without DRAG AND DROP where we could just put file into the folder and choose programm we need

depends on how the original p7 is I guess? (cmv2.9 or cmv4.0 / trims or not)
the best you can hope as I said, is cmv4.0 without trims and no point using anything else

this won't happen.
Drag and drop is a much better approach because your input can be anywhere in your PC (different drives)

Salut, sorry for the maybe silly question but how do I get a DV P8 when baking in FEL using your 6-9 workflow? In changelog you say you added in option to export in DV but I still only get option for HDR or SDR.

P7 rpu will be converted to P8 automatically so once the encoding is completed, just remux the hevc with mkvtoolnix or tsmuxer and DV P8 will be present.

Ok, thanks very much! Is there an easy way to tell for myself what FEL titles have this issue?

Thanks but I meant to check myself in case there was a title you hadn't looked at. I guess you are pretty thorough, though.

You plot L1 DV(6-2-3) and HDR10 (6-2-2) or you export screenshots with (6-8-1).
then compare the brightness.

you can also create some cool heatmap with 6-2-7

Please advise, I have two videos completely synchronized and with the same number of frames. The task is to add HDR10+ metadata from one video to the other. The two videos differ in frame size but with the same aspect ratio, the donor video with HDR10+ 1600p and the patient video 2160p. Question - is it possible to add HDR10+ metadata from one video to the other and vice versa if both videos differ in frame size? Is there any parameter similar to Level 5 in HDR10+ metadata as in Dolby Vision?

Hello I'm hallucinating with your tool, I have a question .. I have several series in SDR and I have seen that your tool with the command 6-9 converts to HDR10 but the CPU shoots up to 100% and as your tool says -- Encode FEL P7 or HLG or P5 to HDR10 or SDR with ffmpeg/libx265/libx26/ibplacebo/dovi_baker
-- Require an Nvidia gpu that supports Vulkan.
-- Input must be P7 Single-Track for FEL to P8 encoding and require Avisynthplus and dovi.dll.
refers to having an NVIDIA Vilkan GPU and I have a 4090 that I have observed does not work when I run the tool... It could be some configuration failure?.. thanks I am waiting in case anyone knows the answer or can guide me
