The latest public KeyDB already contains a record for your disc:
Disc ID: 2F4E49D25DB088E0F7AB8A5F6AB7C960CF2E3072
Dump File: MKB20_v82_The_Conjuring_ACD0
The keyDB is constantly being updated.
You should always download the latest version and test your disc immediately before submitting a dump.

Thanks a million Marty. I already had the latest KeyDB (could see the Disc ID), rebooted the Mac and now it works. Thanks for the fast response and help, cheers

You need to check that the KEYDB.cfg file is in the right directory. Run Makemkv and check View Preferences General. Here it shows the Makemkv data directory path. And after copying close Makemkv and restart it. If you are on Windows SamuriHL's KeyDB_Helper will do the copying into the right location automatically.

Thanks to everyone who provided new UHD disc dumps. All posted UHD titles have been added to the public keydb. The following disc variants were new additions to the keydb:
Code: Select all
MKB20_v82_BDROM_1782
MKB20_v82_Catch-22_F708
MKB20_v82_Daughters_of_Darkness_UHD_C822

I have the Blu-ray "How To Train Your Dragon (2025)" with the 5EC6 variant, but I have a Pioneer BD drive, which is probably not helpful in providing dumps, as I have read on the forum.
The disc cannot be decrypted with v1.18.2 on Linux and I have used the public key database from Oct. 21st, 2025 and placed it in /home/<user>/.MakeMKV as "keydb.cfg" and "KEYDB.cfg". The decryption does not work.
Can I somehow see if my disc is covered by the latest key database?
Can I somehow contribute in another way?

I don't think having a Pioneer drive matters if you have an ordinary BD disk rather than a UHD disk.
However, even if you have a UHD disk, there's still no harm in providing the dump anyway. But there would be no guarantee of your disk being added to KEYDB.

Yes, this is how you calculate your disk's ID:
Code: Select all
$ sha1sum /<path-to-your-mounted-disk>/AACS/Unit_Key_RO.inf
And then search for that ID in your KEYDB.cfg file.

Have you tried downloading the latest
KEYDB.cfg file, copying it into MakeMKV's data directory (i.e. where MakeMKV also writes its TGZ dump files) and restarting MakeMKV? I believe your disk is already supported.
