Post #22 describes the sequence of events when MakeMKV does its thing (assuming nothing is blocking access). Whether 'hkdatastore.tk' is still the target domain, or if a new one is downloaded, I do not know. I still see this after flushing my DNS cache:VarHD wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2019 1:01 pmEarlier https://www.makemkv.com/svq/sdf.bin was mentioned, but is that the exact same URL that the app uses?
I can access this URL today and could yesterday, I even downloaded that file and put it into the data folder, but it didn't help.
Also http://www.hkdatastore.tk/ was mentioned before that. This one points to "server not found" for me, but is that a whole separate site or a domain that forwards to https://www.makemkv.com/svq/sdf.bin?

Server: resolver1.opendns.com
Address: 208.67.222.222
*** resolver1.opendns.com can't find hkdatastore.tk: Non-existent domain
As in my case, your specified DNS server may still not have updated it's records, which (as also mentioned previously) can take up to 24 hrs. Try a different DNS server, or wait & try again later.
