News about the discontinuation of Blu-ray disc production for consumers (Sony) and Blu-ray players (LG) drew my attention back to my external drive, which I had almost forgotten about and barely used.

And guess what? It's a BD-RW BDR-UD03 with the Verbatim logo on it. Bouht it years ago. I couldn´t believe it as makemkv told me so and even more as i come to read your thread here, becoming aware of the possibility that it might read UHD Discs.

Please let me know what is required to get this to work with MKV+UHDs.
