does not seem to read 4k blueray discs. I have a registered copy of makemkv and i bought it to replace a drive that i used with makemkv that was stolen from me. I did some searching and found this thread. Can it be made into a libredrive for makemkv?

Believe I completed a successful flash(crossflash? on what was a UD03?), but now won't read either of 2 rented discs to test, Blu or UHD, will play dvd. Many thanks to Coopervid.

The discs are clean?

1. give the drive a reboot, better safe than sorry, power off the drive, wait a few seconds and power on
2. let windows do the initialisation without opening MakeMKV, the disc has to shown in the windows explorer
3. open the MakeMKV app and look for recognition with it

Again. One-time-posters need to come back and show interest.

Hi, i have the same drive (BD-RW BDR-UD03; Rev 1.14; Firmware Date 2020-06-15).
Im fairly new to this, but do i understand it correctly that it can read UHD disks? And if yes, could you show me how to get it working?
