Strange, I have to keep my system time in July in order to decrypt anything

So you're implying that the program executes. Try putting keydb.cfg in $HOME/.MakeMKV. Anyhow, good luck.Chaos6616 wrote: Tue Aug 12, 2025 5:12 am Strange, I have to keep my system time in July in order to decrypt anything
What I found personally is that I needed to make sure the time stays "wrong" and won't update again while MakeMKV is running / reading disc / decrypting.Chaos6616 wrote: Tue Aug 12, 2025 5:12 am Strange, I have to keep my system time in July in order to decrypt anything
Weird, it doesnt require an install. Wonder what you downloaded lolufococoa wrote: Wed Aug 13, 2025 5:14 pm I installed the MakeMKV-Loader yesterday or the day before, and now my PC is swarming with viruses. Thank you, I guess I'll spend the night doing a complete reinstall of my system.
What happened?ufococoa wrote: Wed Aug 13, 2025 5:14 pm I installed the MakeMKV-Loader yesterday or the day before, and now my PC is swarming with viruses. Thank you, I guess I'll spend the night doing a complete reinstall of my system.
You're right, I did not install anything, just downloaded it from your Google Drive and ran it. Anyways, my F-Secure scanner said it was a virus. I ran the scan a few more times, and let it clean the folder MakeMKV-Loader was in, and now it seems everything's OK. But I dare not run the loader again.Terron1 wrote: Wed Aug 13, 2025 5:49 pmWeird, it doesnt require an install. Windows Security barked about it, but I suspect it was because it was unsigned, rather than anything malignant? Just buy a key & avoid this sort of madness.ufococoa wrote: Wed Aug 13, 2025 6:37 pmYou're right, I did not install anything, just downloaded it from your Google Drive and ran it. You, too, are right: I really should buy a key.d00zah wrote: Wed Aug 13, 2025 7:01 pmWindows Security barked about it, but I suspect it was because it was unsigned, rather than anything malignant?
