After reading all the posts here, I'm pretty sure that I can also read UHD/4K discs with this drive (currently not possible).
Can anyone give me a tip/hint on what exactly I need to do/which tool I need to use for flashing?
It's exactly the same drive as mentioned above, the firmware is from 2018, so well before December 2022.
The operating system is Windows.

I have a similar one. Can someone PM me a hint how to make it UHD friendly? I am on MacOS. I can work with the command line stuff but unsure about what firmware to update it with / how. Thank you for your help, I appreciate it.

This can’t be flashed as the firmware is post 11/2022.

Good evening,
could I get a bit of help with flashing my new SBW-06D5H-U, please?
I it's based on MT1959 (SDF tool confirms MT1959 platform and unencrypted firmware, both have green checkmark), same as my older 5.25in drive that I successfully flashed, but I have no experience with flashing slim drives and also this drive is not mentioned anywhere on the LibreDrive flashing list.
I'll be glad for any help,
