I have just submitted MKB20_v77_Dune-_Part_Two_95C0.tgz. As I have seen, this version has
not been submitted.

Have you tried installing the latest
KEYDB.cfg file into your .MakeMKV directory (which is where MakeMKV wrote your .tgz dump file)?

Hello
I’m in France and i bought Dune 2 in uhd disc. I tried to rip it and makemkv doesn’t succeed to open the disc.
I sent the tgz file to
svq@makemkv.com. it still doesn’t work
I updated the keydb. It doesn’t work. Where should i place this file in the makemkv directory ?

Copy the latest KEYDB.cfg file into the same directory where MakeMKV writes its .tgz dump files, and then restart MakeMKV. If you're using MacOS or Linux then you should also ensure that the file name is KEYDB.cfg and not keydb.cfg, because the file-system is case-sensitive.
What is the full name of your tgz dump file please?

"Waiting for Mike" is the obvious solution, although it's also worth checking the KEYDB.cfg file periodically while you wait. The KEYDB.cfg file is constantly updated by people across the Internet, and so you
might be lucky with a newer title because someone else could reasonably add your disk while you're waiting.

I already had the same problem with other uhd discs. i asked my retailer to change the disc and this new one worked immediately with makemkv. How do you explain that ?

There are two possible explanations:
- Mike had computed the key for your disk while you were busy exchanging it.
- Your new disk has a different "master disk" to your original disk, and MakeMKV already knew your new disk's key.
From your perspective, it probably doesn't matter which of these explanations is true.

Thanks for confirming that KEYDB.cfg now contains a key for the 95C0 variant.
