I am after an internal slimline sata drive in the UK.
Would rather a slimline internal drive as it avoids me replacing my computer or adding another usb box to my desk!

I have the same interest/question.
I am in the US
An external would be preferred but I can be flexible if an internal 5 1/4" SATA would be better

Hi,
What's the best external drive to get for ripping dvd and bluray? On a bit of a budget so not concerned about UHD. Any PM greatly appreciated

If you won't ever be interested in UHD, go for a Pioneer external drive. Something like a BDR-XD07 or BDR-XD08. Very good drives but cannot currently be downgraded for UHD but work well for DVD and BD.

Any recommendations for uk.
UHD preferred, but on a budget, so looking at for non uhd aswell.
Preferably usb so I can move between server and pc easily.

Buy a Verbatim 43888. Also UHD compatible.

I am in the United States and am looking for a drive with UHD support. It can be internal 5.25 (adapted using a Vantec NexStar DX2) or external. I was originally looking at the LG WH16NS40, but am open to any other recommendations based on experience. Thank you!

I would recommend the pioneers i sell I would not even consider LG or Asus as long as pioneers are available with old fw.
