One last thing, out of all of the BU40N firmware options in the MK pack, is there one that is generally agreed upon as being the best, or does it not matter much?

Thanks, I didn’t know that.

I’ve also been using this drive to rip CDs with iTunes on my MacBook Pro. Will DE_LG_BU40N_1.00 from the DE-firmware-pack allow me to continue doing that? (I will be using a windows PC to flash it)
