You do not need to do anything as it is already UHD compatible out of the box. Just insert a UHD disc and start ripping!!

EDIT: Never mind! I searched around and found that LibreDrive ignores the region codes. Gave it a try and had an issue at first not detecting any discs, but I found another post on here where someone mentioned using a USB 3 or higher port as others do not provide enough power. Swapped to a Lightning/SS port and it works as intended.

That's what I assumed, but wanted to make sure.

Do I have to worry about this drive being region locked or does that not matter with the MakeMKV software? I know that if I were to use this as a normal BD or UHD drive it would either not let me do so or potentially change the region after 1-3 uses but I only intend to use this as a backup drive not for playback.
