So there are no actual read errors. Your issue is clear.
You need to fix your HK download issue otherwise you won't be able to rip a lot of UHD discs. MakeMKV needs to be able to download it's HK database to get the UHD decryption keys. Your computer is most likely geo-blocking Russia (that's where the HK is downloaded from). You should fix this geo-blocking or you could try running MakeMKV through a VPN.

I got it working. I do use a VPN, turns out my VPN was blocking.

I was able to buy a BDR-XS07TS surprisingly cheap. For 4K Support I would be very grateful:

So I have I think the same (or similar) drive as zittrig. This is a new account for me as my old one I guess I can't get in (my old email is inaccessible. I'd love to be able to play UHD on it but cannot ATM.
