If it's old stock it might contain a Pioneer UD03 and you have to post again so I will forward a package to flash it.StarryEyed wrote: ↑Fri Nov 28, 2025 1:41 pmMy optical drive has recently failed so looking to get a replacement. Before purchasing can I ask a sanity check please: if I get a Verbatim 43890 will I be able to flash this drive myself?
So all looks good to me as platform is MT1959. What is the recommended way to flash the above drive I understand I should flash to BU40N 1.03. Do I need the enc option and should I use the makemkv inbuilt flasher as I am ok with using the command line or use the GUI flasher?Drive Information
