Sorry! Can't help without knowing the drive platform. You might have a Pioneer or a LG or even something else.

just to confirm, even if its an ASUS SBW-06D2X-U, it can still be a Pioneer or LG? If that's the case do you know why the Libre Drive info doesn't show up for this?

Sorry, I don't. I tried Google for your firmware but wasn't successful.

Buy a new one. Tell us your country of residence and if you want an external or 5,25" drive.

USA, prefer external but whichever is cheaper, can always use a usb to sata adapter.
