Is flashing my drive possible? I thought I read somewhere that drives with firmware past 2022 couldn’t be, but also that there may have been a new update that now allows them to be flashed? Thanks

No, your drive can't be flashed. You have to wait if and when Mike comes up with a solution. No ETA.

Most likely It's not supported yet natively by Makemkv. Read this and install KEXDB.cfg.
