Thanks for the new disc dumps MKVDUDE. All four discs have been added to the public keydb.

Dump for Casper 4K UHD Steenbok (Nordic Version) (MKB20_v82_Casper_C4BC). Not found in latest keydb.cfg from 2025-08-11.

Hey mrpeachum, unfortunately disc dump files created with Pioneer drives like your BDR-UD04 are only helpful to the MakeMKV team. They cannot be used to add support for new titles to the public keydb. If you have a suitable LG drive or an Asus/Buffalo rebranded LG drive feel free to create a new disc dump and post it to this thread. Otherwise you'll need to email your disc dump and wait for the MakeMKV to process your disc dump.

I purchased Ensemble Stars!! Cast Live Starry Symphony -the midnight sun- BD-BOX and downloaded the latest KeyDB. Interestingly, disc 2 rips fine, but disc 1 doesn’t.

Hey twist1ne, thanks for including everything required and using a suitable disc drive. The 0D4C variant of Bring Her Back has been added to the public keydb. If you haven't already, check out the first post in this thread to configure MakeMKV to utilise the public keydb.

Hey mikepiko, unfortunately that disc dump is not usable as it is missing the VID value. Whenever you see this line in the MakeMKV log it means the disc dump is not going to be usable:

Shutdown your computer or do whatever else is required to power down your drive and try creating a new disc dump file.

I haven't yet looked too deeply at whether or not there's a Mac version of the self-keydb tool yet, but in the meantime I would like to add this bonus bluray disc from a Japanese rock band album (kein - delusional inflammation) if possible please! I have the BW-16D1HT drive.
