Hello, I've been also lurking on the forum and ripping regular Blu-rays but I am wondering if my drive is flashable for UHD ones.

The sticker on the bottom says BDR-XD05W.

Can someone enlighten me please? Thanks in advance!

thank you! put in a UHD disk and ripped without any issues. I feel like my much older pioneer always performed better than my newer LG for BD ripping. glad to have 2 UHD capable drives now.
