For anyone who is receiving SCSI medium errors:
I was using an ASUS 16D1HT, which provided me with perfect (albeit loud) ripping for all of my discs other than these. But no amount of isopropyl alcohol with a microfiber cloth would even allow a single disc to be read. I finally broke down and bought a Pioneer BDR-2213, and it's reading all of the discs perfectly with no errors.
If you search through these comments, nobody is complaining about a Pioneer drive having an issue with reading - just decrypting. I don't think the ASUS drives can properly read these discs for whatever reason.
