Public KeyDB Disc Submissions

Not sure why this one is failing to decrypt, maybe there is a newer version of Last Action Hero on 4K UHD?

UHD discs can only be decrypted if they are in the public keydb or MakeMKV's native key database. Until someone provides a disc dump file for their disc it will remain unsupported. It is possible that unsupported titles correspond to new versions, but they can just as easily be older regional variants from smaller markets.

On a separate note, has anyone had issues with Bullet Train on 4K? My drive won't even recognize the disc, even though it's brand new and flawless.

Doesn't sound too flawless to me... All you can do is clean it or try a different drive.

Submitting dump for Arrow's House of Laughing Windows. First time using the forum. Wasn't sure where to find the Disc ID, but if this a necessary piece of info please let me know how to locate it and I'll add it here.

Hey Jack, welcome to the forum. The disc ID isn't absolutely essential, but it allows keydb contributors to quicky check if a disc is already supported by the keydb before downloading and processing the disc dump file.

The disc ID is the SHA-1 hash of the Unit_Key_RO.inf file found inside the AACS folder on your disc. This can be calculated with a tool such as 7-zip or any other good hash utility.

If you get a chance Liersi, I'd recommend trying out SamuriHL's KeyDBTool for Windows with your next unsupported disc. It can usually generate and submit keys for discs when the media key is already known to the public keydb - such as your Tron: Legacy disc. You can always post it here if a disc remains unsupported.

Hey BaiDuYunPan, thanks for the disc dump file. The F861 variant of A Better Tomorrow has been added to the public keydb.

In the future, please follow the submission template outlined in the opening post and include the full MKB_RO.inf file from the AACS folder on your disc. You were fortunate that a user previously made a full disc dump of your disc available in October 2024 otherwise your disc dump could not have been processed.
