Post your Makemkv info. The information for the chip should be MT1959. B09QC1VYNZ. It contains within the enclosure the latest and greatest Blu-Ray LG WH16NS48 drive. When it works (about 80% of the time, these are older Blu-Ray disks) it is amazingly fast at 16X it backs up a 2 hour Blu-Ray movie in about 20 minutes. The other 20% of the time with newer videos it will error out in literally 3 to 4 sec. Disappointing to say the least. The error(s) = OS error and Scsi error are shown below. Since this is the case, can I take it for granted that MakeMKV needs to be updated to be able to bypass (New?) security measures.
At this time there is no firmware available for this drive, it is that new and I have come to believe that MakeMKV is causing the problem. I'm not an expert, I'm searching and struggling to find a way to make this work.
Any help or insights that anyone can offer would be gratefully accepted.
