Can't help you then. Try doing some forum searching or googling.

Re: SDFtool Flasher
For this model, manufactured 12/2015, SVC code NS30, would platform MT1959 be ruled out?
I have seen references to other LG models manufactured before 10/2015 with SVC code NS40, or after then with SVC code NS50, and that dividing line corresponds to either MT1939 or MT1959. This model is after that date, but with a lower SVC code.

Again, can't say for sure. Don't know much about the UH12NS30. Can't you ask the seller to connect it up and provide the MakeMKV drive info & libredrive info sections? You cannot get a definitive answer without this info.kaysee wrote: ↑Mon Dec 22, 2025 11:35 pmFor this model, manufactured 12/2015, SVC code NS30, would platform MT1959 be ruled out?

If you want a drive for UHD discs, it's probably not worth it. Far better off buying a new drive anyway, not a 10+ year old drive.

Re: SDFtool Flasher
New equipment does have its advantages. What companies are currently manufacturing new optical drives?
Re: SDFtool Flasher
You can still find a better drive than this one.
