I have the same problem (audio, but no video using vlc) with both The Dark Knight and Terminator Salvation. I am using win7 home 64bit, which I think is where the issue lies. I have successfully used makemkv to rip Wolverine, however.

Same Problem here with Dark Knight. Sound but no Video. Using Windows XP. Any idea?

VLC player does not play VC-1 video from MKV container.
