BD+ dump files are only created for discs that have BD+. DVD's do not have BD+ protection.

Having the same issues for the BD version of the movie. It will crash MKV.
This is what is gives me.
MakeMKV v1.7.7 win(x86-release) started
Using direct disc access mode
Evaluation version, 30 day(s) out of 30 remaining
Loaded 111 SVQ file(s)
Processing BD+ code, please be patient - this may take up to few minutes
Processing BD+ code using generic SVQ from builtin/00000.svq
Failed to process BD+ code using generic SVQ from builtin/00000.svq

Is the 3D disk 'fixed' too? MKV ends with 'Backup failed' due to 'Failed to process BD+ code'.

Regarding the single disc, 2D U.S. Blu-ray version of "Prometheus":
Using v.1.7.7, I have just succesfully created both a FULL DISC backup and a MOVIE-Only backup (00800.MPLS/00800.M2TS).
Thanks for your great efforts ;>}

I have the 2 disk version using MakeMKV 1.7.7 under OSX 10.7.5.
The log gets to this point

Debug logging enabled, log will be saved as /Users/norman/MakeMKV_log.txt
Optical drive "DVD+R-DL HL-DT-ST DVD-RW GH61N PA03" opened in DASPI v1.3 mode.
Optical drive "BD-RE HL-DT-ST BD-RE WH10LS30 1.00" opened in DASPI v1.3 mode.
Using direct disc access mode
Downloading latest SVQ(s) to /Users/norman/.MakeMKV ...
Loaded 64 SVQ file(s)
Processing BD+ code, please be patient - this may take up to few minutes
Processing BD+ code using generic SVQ from builtin/00000.svq

And then I get a modal dialog saying "Fatal error occurred, program will now exit."

@ephemeris
Hi!
Your log includes the following line:Loaded 64 SVQ file(s)
. I believe that the current number of SVQ files is in the 130s.
Do you have your MakeMKV set up to receive SVQs? (I'm not sure that this is still required or if it's different for MACs)

I do have the update feature enabled in Preferences… although I didn't always in the past. I have no idea if the number reported is different for different platforms but it is interesting.

Setarip,
Your instincts were correct. I quit MakeMKV and cleared the data directory then relaunched Make MKV. It looks like the svq files were corrupt somehow. It looks like it may rip now. Cross your fingers...
