I've also noticed this across multiple new 4K discs. New Blu-Rays are fine. My drive has been cross-flashed for over two years, just cleaned, discs are spotless and were cleaned with micro-fiber cloth when failing. Perhaps this is a new software bug?

Also to note: both new 4Ks were Disney discs, TSOM and Rocky Horror.

Having the same issue on my BP50NB40 except I'm on macOS so I can't use the SDFtool flasher.
Firmware HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BP50NB40-NB50-1.03-NM00800-212005070917 was successfully flashed but trying to flash HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BP60NB10-1.02-NM00800-212005070935.bin, even though it says "done successfully" in the terminal does nothing. It will still show the BP50NB40-NB50-1.03 firmware in MakeMKV. I'm on macOS 26.
Tried using both
./makemkvcon f -d '/IOBDServices/identifier' -f /tmp/sdf.bin rawflash enc -i /tmp/HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BP60NB10-1.02-NM00800-212005070935.bin
and
./makemkvcon f -d '/IOBDServices/identifier' -f /tmp/sdf.bin rawflash main -i /tmp/HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BP60NB10-1.02-NM00800-212005070935.bin

You have the NB52 version of the BP50NB40, right? The
Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide says after you flash BP50NB40-NB50-1.03MK onto it then you need to flash BP50NB40-NB50-1.03MK with
bootloader/full flash. In order to do that on the command line, you have to use 'rawflash full' in your command.

Thanks a lot!!! Yeah, I missed the part where I had to type rawflash full. It's working now and ripping a 4K as I'm typing this with the BP60NB10 1.02 firmware!
