I never thought to check log files. When I read that Handbrake might work, and it did, I was done. I may never buy another BD. A few years ago I converted all my DVDs to computer files, usually by extracting the movie, but sometimes just by making an iso. I still have these iso files so I think I will see about extracting videos from them with MakeMKV.

VLC has no problem playing the disc with both video and audio.
