I cleaned the disc, even used a 2nd copy of it, the same error still exists. Its always towards the end, the last few mins it messes up.
Try a different UHD movie
If the same thing happens I would return or exchange the drive
I got it from amazon. Under what reason do I return or exchange it ? Do I have to revert it back to original firmware ?

I tried a brand new and different UHD movie. Now its saying "The source file '/BDMV/STREAM/00278.m2ts' is corrupt or invalid". The disc itself is spotless. Just what is going on ?

The BU40N
BP50
Bp60
Or any other clones of those they can be gotten for around $80-$90.
I don't recommend any of the 5.25 drives from LG or Asus they are the same.

Is it possible that I reset the firmware back to its original and re-flash it ?

You could try but no need to go back to original. Just reflash NS60 1.02-MK and see if that helps.

IF you were to recommend a LG or ASUS one, what would you say is a good one ?

They are basically all the same. The ASUS is a rebadged LG anyway. Just go with the cheapest one.
