lrmcba wrote: Mon Nov 08, 2021 6:41 am I will attach some images about my BluRay burner. PLEASE GIVE ME A HAND HELP ME!!!!! I TRIED THE TUTORIALS BUT DIDNT WORK FOR ME AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO MOVE CALIBRATION TO A FIRMWARE PLEASE UPLOAD HERE A FIRMWARE ALREADY CALIBRATED.
if you would have looked at my howto videos you would see how to move the calibration the calibration is unique to your drive most times its not a good idea to use someone's it may not work.
do you already flash your drive with a blank calibration?
I followed your tutorial but still dont work, and how i could move a calibration if i lost, i read the firm, save on pc, run eprom utility pick the firm readed, pick the firm that to be moved calibration, and pick a new name for the firmware to be written. Plug the pc off and wait a while.

And still non-working BLURAY, is what i was trying to tell, I LOST MY CALIBRATION by a bad firmware upgrade. BH16NS SVC CODE:NS40 its mine from 2014

you obviously did not flash the right firmware
flash this one in dos flash again after following the video ok
download/file.php?id=3036
if you had flashed the correct one it would be mt1939 not mt1959

You are going to kill me to bother you :(

1] Boot from USB Win10 32bits PE
2] Launch the DosFlash32_BH16NS40.exe
3] Read the BLURAY firmware (saved as LG 1.0.BIN
4] Open BH16NS40_EEPROM_Data_Mover.exe
5] Select LG 1.0.BIN
6] Select DE_LG_WH16NS40_1.01.bin (you provides)
7] Save as LG EDIT 1.0.BIN
8] Launch the DosFlash32_BH16NS40.exe
9] Write the firmware LG EDIT 1.0.BIN
10] Shutdown and disconnect the pc for 10 minutes
11] Power normal, Windows detect WH16NS new drive
12] Reboot to make changes.
13] Open the BLURAY put a disk, keep trying to read for 3 minutes and nothing happen like if no disk was on it.

its all i did.

what i did wrong??

Exactly you match the point i lost the calibration due a bad firmware update since i never made a backup of the current firmware.

sorry man your probably out of luck you can try to take a cal from an mt1959 but idk if it will work
ideally you find one for mt1939 but i dont have any of those.
you will need to hex edit if you do it
