Hi. Just an update. I borrowed a friends disk since mine was failing. No problems with that disk at all. I'm not sure why a brand new disk wouldn't work but it's all set now.
Glad to hear that you've resolved your problem - and it had nothing to do with MakeMKV...
In a "sorta kinda" loosely related tidbit - I've read that in addition to the more frequent mastering problems of the past year or two, the Blu-ray manufacturing facilities are sometimes using different (lower) quality media for the recent specific "Rental" releases...
