Can you please confirm if the new 1.01-MK is UHD friendly or if a downgrade to 1.00 is required.

No downgrade appears to be required. (Mike didn't instruct me to, I didn't try. He's updated the firmware pack to include the 1.01-MK image as well.)

I'm on my 3rd UHD rip as I post this.

Don't use the ASUS flasher. Use the newer SDFtool Flasher. Also, if your drive is new and has encrypted firmware 1.02, check "enc?" for the first flash.

1. If it has 1.02, flash 1.02-MK with enc checked. If it has 1.01, flash 1.01-MK without enc.
2. Flash 1.00-MK without enc.
