I am happy to report that the update of Make MKV 1.7.7 has fixed this issue with Reign of Fire.

Running MakeMKV 1.17.9 and thirteen years later, Reign of Fire still gives errors in DVD and Bluray. As I write this, I'm attempting to create a Virtual CD image with the application by the same name. While it has slowed to a crawl at 49% at one hour and four minutes, it continues to map unreadable sectors and chug along. I'll let it run and check it in the morning (it's 1:40 AM at the moment).

At one point, several years ago, I came across an entry indicating some commercial DVD formats contained intentional, physical flaws as anti-piracy measures. It was presumed at the time, Reign of Fire was among them. I'll report back with any progress.
