I downloaded 1.4.11 and installed that and it works fine.
for me too.
Thank's, great software. I use it with xbmc.

Sorry for the messup, guys. Linux version will be updated soon, meanwhile run the following commands and MakeMKV should not crash anymore.

mkdir -p ~/.MakeMKV
touch ~/.MakeMKV/settings.conf

First. let me thank the developers for a much needed app for Linux. Now i can play BluRay DVD's on my XBMC box without the bloatware of Windows or dual boot..
having the same error on XBMC Live with the 1.4.12 build using the live cd from xbmcfreaks.nl (they bundle the makemkv envrionment on their distro)
Downdraded to 1.4.11 and things worked
Quick question.. are there plans to post an update to the version anytime soon ?
