NB52 to > BP50NB40-NB50-1.03MK with enc > BP50NB40-NB50-1.03MK with bootloader/full flash > BP60NB10 1.00_HBD from Marty

Hey, I have a quick question, I followed the guide but I did not see anything about the sec tag being nb52 to do those steps. I did the steps anyway... got an error but 4ks and blur ays rip fine. DVDs spin outta control though.

oh and btw my tag says nb50

What should I do in such a case? Sorry to bother you.

Nothing to do really sometime some chips sets makemkv reports an error when flashing but it's fine.

Not sure about the DVD thing should be fine these drives are just loud
Make sure you put the disc in first then let the is see it them open makemkv that avoids alot of issues

Well, if I didn't hold it down I would swear the burner would fly off the desk. I have to use another drive for DVDs cause literally, it spins so fast it moves the drive and sounds like a jackhammer.

Perhaps the disc is unbalanced?

You could perhaps also make use of MakeMKV's speed control to slow down DVDs.

Where is the 1.00? I see the 1.03MK, eg. "HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BP50NB40-NB50-1.03-NM00800-212005070917.bin", which is in the "The all you need firmware pack.zip" file. Or, is the "DE_LG_BP60NB10_1.00_MK_HBD.bin" inside the "Hybrid_Firmware_for_BP50NB40_to_BP60NB10.zip" the 1.00MK?

Just to be clear, if I have a "NB50", I'm going to effectively do these 2 lines only...
