Wish I'd seen this thread earlier, I also have the Chinese one which in SDFtool Flasher it shows that it's NOT the MT1959 platform and therefore not flashable.

The compatibility lists really should list this info... just wasted $100.

Manufactured: May 2025
ROM Ver: 1.03

My drive has the same specs, but manufactured in January 2026 and it's flashable MT1959.

It's just very confusing, I recommend everyone only buy this model if the seller confirms it's LibreDrive compatible and I would also avoid if the source location is China. There's nothing on the packaging or drive that indicates to me that it's fake, maybe you guys can see something.

I've ordered a Verbatim 43888 now, so hopefully that works.
