I currently have a LG HL-DT-ST BD-RE WH16NS60 that I flashed years ago that can read some UHD drives, but not others. Will I have better luck with these Pioneer drives?

Likely yes pioneers are much more reliable and consistent

Will there be any exception for shipping outside USA now that you are selling the last batch of Pioneer drives ?

Just got my Billycar Pioneer BDR-XD08G setup and ready to go with Libredrive right out of the box.
No setup required. Plugged in and MakeMKV detected it perfectly. Just finished ripping the first disc with it.
