I just purchased one on Amazon when the news was posted about all Pioneer drives soon being able to be flashed, so I figured it'd be worth the risk if I got one with a weird firmware version.

My LG is fading so I'm hoping this will be able to handle UHD discs it was unable to rip—I lost my 4K collection when migrating to a new NAS, so I'm having to re-rip everything.
