I can select and open the file in the flashing utility but when I click the go button I receive a pop up message of "Checksum is mismatched. Drive will go into BOOT mode. Please retry again" I have restarted and retired multiple times with the same result. Any ideas of what could be wrong?

Hello and thank you for all of your hard work! I could use a little assistance and will make this as short as possible.
I purchased the lg WH16NS60 which came with the 1.03fw preinstalled. I have run the BH14NS40_N1.00-A4_patched.exe. but there was no file for the WH16NS60. I did find a .bin file for the NS60 (HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_WH16NS60-1.03-NM00600-212005081010) but no matter which patch I attempt I get an error.

CheckSum is mismatched. Drive will go to BOOT mode. Please retry again.

One last piece to the puzzle is I have an Asus BW-16D1X-U drive that I am using for an external enclosure. I removed the old Pioneer drive and inserted the LG.

Drive Information
OS device name: D:
Manufacturer: HL-DT-ST

Firmware date: 2120-05-08 10:10

Firmware version: 1.03

Thank you for your help once again :) :D

This thread is obsolete!!!

Please use the SDFtool Flasher and flash the drive to WH16NS60 1.02-MK firmware.

Are there any advantages in upgrading from 1.00 to 1.02MK (or even 1.03MK, if there is one)?
Thanks!
