Hey guys!
I have been lurking here a long time and wanted to introduce myself and ask a very simple question. I have learned a lot from this place and now have 2 LG bluray drives in my computer that I use to rip disks after following the guides here to change the FW on them. I also purchased a license to support the cause
Anyway here is my quick question, I was ripping the Bourne 4k collection and on 4 of the 5 movies, got the error "The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted." So I emailed the AACS dump files to svq@makemkv.com yesterday. I know it takes a few days and am not in a rush on this. Just wondering if I will get an email response saying that the keys have been added or do i just try ripping them again in a couple days to see if they work?
Appreciate the feedback!
JM

Welcome here!
You won't get an email response, but the turnaround can often be pretty quick - just try again, and be sure to have "Enable Internet access" selected in Preferences.

Re: Bourne: The Ultimate Collection 4K
Hey I appreciate the info. I tried the disks again this morning and they worked! Quick turn around considering I only submitted the AACS files late on Wednesday evening.
One more question. Is it common to have to buy multiple copies of a movie or series to get a good one? I have run into a few titles like the Office Blu-ray season 8, the Bourne 4K series and others where makemkv has gotten stuck on bad sectors (I think thats what the error says). Cleaning the disks doesn't help, changing Blu-ray drives doesn't help. I think I have come to realize that some disks are just bad I guess.
BTW my latest Bourne 4K disks are working properly so far. I have ripped 2 movies and the remaining 2 are ripping as I type this.
