I have the 77CX9LA
the other option was "mobile with dolby vision", I took "theather" in DVD Fab.
Hi This isn't the Fab support room, also you are using a demo, probably the new version, this is how it should look in version 11, you choose the profile, select the spanner and choose single track, you may need to adapt.
P.S. Choose copy video, you don't wan to transcode, or do you?
fab.png
I got it as you said

/ works great, thank you!
What can the LG OLED play in mp4 DV? only AC3 5.1 640kbit/s ?
vobsub is muxed and shown to choose in tv-menu, but it doesn´t work.
a separate file with *.srt works.

You can choose Dolby Digital + from within fab at a higher bit rate up to 7.1 or you can mux in DTS-HD with mp4 mux, obviously you only get core playback unless you have eARC capable receiver.

So can I just confirm something, is MakeMKV creating a single or dual layer file? And is it single or dual layer that Plex now supports?

They are single track dual layer files. Plex supports it, but the more important thing that matters is whether the hardware that runs Plex supports it.

Thanks, is there a way to see this whether something is single or dual layer in Mediainfo?

If there is a mention of EL in mediainfo, then it's dual layer.

Hi Mike,
The Hunt For Red October reports as FEL when it is reported on blu-ray.com database as MEL.
The ripped makemkv doesn’t play on Zidoo at all, it just hangs.
Can you fix this or is there a way to rip it correctly as Profile 7 MEL?
Cheers.

The blu-ray.com database could be wrong. It wouldn't be the first time!

The fact that a straight rip doesn’t play in any way shape or form tells me something isn’t correct.
It also wouldn’t be the first time makemkv has been wrong, Mike and Youesepe have had more than one ‘discussion’ about this.
Can anybody else verify this title please?

I just checked my back-up, and the MKV I created:
MakeMKV when decrypting disc:

- Backup.png (4.59 KiB) Viewed 27886 times
Mediainfo report from the resulting MKV:

- mkv.png (3.04 KiB) Viewed 27886 times

The same is true for the m2ts file. No mention of DV.
