pixilation

Post by toddrbrown2 »

I installed a new internal LG Blu-ray drive to play and rip Blu-rays and bought top of the line new discs, Avatar and Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. I cannot rip discs without pixilation. I tried many different discs and many different settings without success. The only success was when I ripped without audio and that made me think that the audio tracks somehow pixilated the video.
What settings can I make to correct this problem?

MakeMKV only copies what is on the disc, so if you didn’t get any errors while ripping (and MakeMKV should fail in that case anyway), it’s not possible for MakeMKV to pixellate the video.

1) Are these original retail discs?

2) What playback software are you using?

3) Is your display device set to 1080p?
Using: ASUS BW-16D1HT 3.00
