I get the following error for certain disks about 20 seconds into the "make" process.
"
Unable to execute external program 'ccextractor' as its path is not set in preferences
Failed to execute external program 'ccextractor' from location '/usr/bin/mmccextr'
"
Any thoughts on this out there?

Same problem here on Kubuntu. Wasn't an issue a couple of weeks ago.
To solve choose the version you want to save. It will display audio languages and closed caption option. I deselected all except the video and English and it seems to be working.

Just deselect the CC subtitle streams.
