Make MKV can't find any usable optical drives even as Administrator

As the title states, I installed makemkv on windows 10, it worked the first day, but when I rebooted, suddenly it didn't work anymore, I've tried reinstalling, deleting the cdarbiter service and then reinstalling? Any ideas? I tried turning on logging, but it didn't show me anything.

I also tried working with the service more, like changing the permissions, etc, with no success.

More super important stuff

I've rebooted and it did not solve the problem
I don't have any of that ransomware bs enabled
I've ran it as administrator with no difference
I restarted the CDArbiter service with no difference
I've read like 14 other posts about this message, and can and will confirm that it is not related to any of them.

maybe the problem is in the registry?
