for example : Klute 1971 NTSC, The Holy Mountain NTSC, The Medusa Touch PAL.
The Conversion works without errors, but if you Playback them you got Audio Stuttering. If you open the Vob's with MKVMerge (MKVToolnix) the extraction of the AC3 Track is OK (No stuttering).
Thanks for this nice Software but I can only use it for Video and Subtitles. For the Audio Tracks I have to use MKVMerge to be shure not fuck up the Audio Tracks.

Re: MakeMKV corrupts AC3 Track on several DVD's
Hi!
1) MakeMKV doesn't alter .AC3 audiostreams in any way. Your playback performance regarding audio may have to do with your choice of players and/or the fact that some of your .MKVs contain PAL format video, while others contain NTSC format.
2) Your profanity is inappropriate (and unnecessary) at the MakeMKV forums...

Re: MakeMKV corrupts AC3 Track on several DVD's
sorry man english is not my native language
the ac3 tracks are really corrupted (bad frames reported by BeSliced)
it has nothing to do with pal - ntsc - player or something else. Again with mkvmerge there is no problem to extract the ac3 tracks without errors.
My thanks was honestly and without profanity.

Re: MakeMKV corrupts AC3 Track on several DVD's
Perhaps the following quote from a review of "Klute" in the DVD Journal, holds the key to the problem you've experienced:
And from a review of "The Holy Mountain"
And from a description of the PAL version of "The Medusa Touch" at Amazon.com:
Warner's DVD edition of Klute comes in a stripped-down package, but with an excellent anamorphic transfer (2.35:1). Gordon's Willis's cinematography shines in a virtually spotless print. The audio remains the Dolby 1.0 mono from the even more stripped-down 1994 Laserdisc
And from a review of "The Holy Mountain"
Some of the more high-end frequencies suffer from a slight distortion
And from a description of the PAL version of "The Medusa Touch" at Amazon.com:
"Language: English (Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono)"

thanks setarip_old for trying to help.
Yes its true the sound quality of the examples is really poor.
But it doesnt explain the periodicaly sound dropouts.
I have converted over hundred DVD's with MakeMKV and 90 % of the generated MKV's are perfect. For the last 10% I had to use MKVMerge to get rid of the sound dropouts.
Perhaps it is the same error here : http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=618

@italospain
What I was trying to highlight is the fact that each of the three DVDs are noted to have other-than-routine audiostreams - that either MakeMKV or your player(s) are having difficulty with.
I'm sure "mike admin" will be able to provide more and better insight...
