I bought an LG wh16ns40 that came with 1.04 fw that I couldn't downgrade. I managed to flash one of the mk firmwares that was in the old folder of the mk firmware zip.
I had selected wh14ns40 1.04 by mistake but it started flashing. It flashed until about 98% then said it has an error and the drive would only be in emergency mode. My computer then powered down but upon restart, makemkv detects that it's a libre compatible drive and can backup 4k discs.
I'm getting around 5x rip speeds, but should I reflash back to the latest patched firmware for the wh16ns40?
Thanks
Flashed the wrong firmware, but it works, should I flash back?

You should flash to WH16NS60 and the reason you got that error is because you are on an amd system it's a false error
