Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Only from USB or from network too ?
It has 100Mit only though but maybe you could use an USB3 to Gbit LAN adapter.

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Problems with shield pro 2019. I was initially concentrated on the infamous red push problem. Today I saw other movies and;
The Matrix initial scenes look light blue instead of beautiflul green.
This happens both with the kodi/exoplayer/mkv and with plex ts profile 4 and 5.
Very bad,

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
If has nothing to do with a TV brand. It's a known issue with Shield with dual-layer DV files. Although, the recent update fixed the issue with profile 5 used for streaming services. Profile 4/6 support is undocumented and never been advertised by Nvidia. I doubt they are going to fix it.lexyz wrote: ↑Sat Aug 29, 2020 5:49 amWhat TV do you have? definitely looks like an issue with file that contains an EL and not TV brand related.mulucy wrote: ↑Sat Aug 29, 2020 1:58 pmIf has nothing to do with a TV brand. Very bad,
Today, after 2 shield reboots, The Matrix DV initial scenes, played in perfect colours (berautiful green) in mkv via kodi, exoplayer and in plex via ts profile 5

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
There are few issues with EL files playback on Shield so far:
2 probably was prior 8.2
- "Red push" - excessive red spots in some frames. Example - https://imgur.com/a/oXwAoOj
- Clipping on DVLL TV at very bright scenes. Example - https://slow.pics/c/I0k7fFq4 pay attention on snow detais.
- Dolby vision output in wrong colorspace. Example https://imgur.com/a/w1z1Kjg . Triggered randomy, without any oblivious pattern. Reboot to fix
- Overall instability on DV playback. You can notice some flashy picture changes after FF or RW mkv in exoplayer
- Some PGS subtitles doesn't render properly.
