Zombieland 4K UHD AACS 2.1

Cool, hopefully it'll be resolved soon. Seems like its an issue of multiple kinds of Zombieland discs out there. I've seen some people successfully rip, and others not. I'm curious has anybody had a disc that wouldn't rip at first be able to rip later?

I wouldn't hold my breath. I've submitted it at least 4 times in 6 months and this disc still hasn't been fixed.

It will be interesting to see if the Columbia Classics 4k set has AACS 2.1 then.

This disc is still not opening with MakeMkv 1.15.2

There is just one version of Zombeiland (dump suffix 1C8D) that still does not work. It certainly would, eventually. Without going into much details, the reason is:

Producing a key with a "current" method would destroy some valuable data (this disc was released just for this reason).
The "new" method is not yet fully ready and needs some polishing/testing.

To some extent we are at the mercy of the studios. The moment they release a new batch of 2.1 discs, the "new" method would be activated with a side benefit of supporting this Zombieland disc.

Until then there is little point to invest just for one disc where alternative is available.

The alternative is to get another copy of Zombieland since only one version doesn't work.

have you tried dvdfab’s full backup option? another alternative would be grabbing the scene release. it’s technically not piracy if you already own the original i guess

I tried DVDFab a few months ago but it didn't work either. I had a trial key then but don't anymore so don't know if anything has changed.

It is an alternative, its just not one that you or I particularly like, but its not the end of the world.

lol when I saw this post pop back up to the top I was hoping this release was working. I still have my 1080p version ripped in case this one takes a while like Fury did

4k disk has been ripped 1 year 2 monthes ago.
I have another problem. Makemkv can`t see main movie when I am trying to make mkv from disk folder. Please see attachment.
