Host certificate revoked

I tried to use this for the first time and got:

"Can't read AACS VID from disc - most likely current AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive"

does this mean i now have to wait for a new linux build to try again? or is it more permanent for my blueray drive? I have perviously been using the drive successfully with PowerDVD on windows, although i no longer have access to that machine.

Please enable "log debug messages" in preferences, restart the application, open disc again and copy the log (or type "makemkvcon info disc:0" - it will provide the same log to stdout) and post the log here. Thank you.

There are 2 errors happening:

1. Program was unable to change thread priority at one time (this is not critical)
2. When talking to the drive _some_ SCSI commands were rejected by SG driver.

The command in question was first command that transfers data to the drive (SEND_KEY) so I wonder if your system has some kind of permission issue that allows read commands but blocks write ones. What distro are you using? I know it sounds silly but can you try to run the same command "makemkvcon info disc:0" as root and see if it fails? Normally even read-only access to the cdrom device is sufficient to execute all scsi commands but apparently it is not sufficient in your case. If running as root succeeds then try to add yourself to the group that controls access to /dev/cdrom0 (normally it is called "cdrom"). But please provide more details about your system regardless.
