Hands off!

#1 Post by adamf663 » Tue Nov 30, 2010 5:24 am

I have a blueray drive and two dvd drives.

When I use makemkv to rip a blueray, it also opens the two dvd drives making it impossible for other applications to use the drives or even to eject a disk.

Is there any way to get makemkv to keep it's hands off of drives it isn't using?

It shouldn't lock for exclusive access. What Linux distro and version are you using?

I've tested MakeMKV both on Ubuntu and Fedora and not run into this problem.
